DUMBARTON have completed a one-year deal for goalkeeper Harry Broun, who arrives from Kilmarnock having taken part in pre-season as a trialist.
The 18-year-old was involved in the youth ranks at Rugby Park before being released by Killie at the end of last season.
He spent part of the 2021/22 campaign on loan to Kilwinning Rangers, who he helped to finish fifth in the West of Scotland Premier Division.
Harry played the full 90 minutes of Saturday’s friendly with Caledonian Braves as a trialist, and has taken part in pre-season training as well.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Harry performed very well with Kilwinning during his loan there from Kilmarnock and is felt to have a very promising future.
“We have of course needed to add another goalkeeper to our squad for the new season and Harry ticks a lot of the boxes for us.”
Welcome to DFC Harry! Hear from him on our club website and social media channels in due course.
