LONG serving Mark Gilhaney and David Van Zanten are not in new boss Stephen Aitken’s plans with both leaving DFC following talks tonight.
Gils (pictured) signed for Dumbarton in 2010 and last season made 30 appearances scoring one goal against Hibs in the league cup.
Irishman van Zanten pulled on the Sons shirt 21 times in 2014/2015 but further appearances were hampered by injury.
Everyone at Dumbarton FC wishes both players well for the future.
