GAME OF TWO HALVES

Monday 4th March 2013

GAFFER Ian Murray’s analysis of last Saturday’s draw with Cowdenbeath concluded that it was a game of mixed fortunes for his team.

He said : “To be honest I don’t know what to think about Saturday’s match.

“I’m pleased we didn’t lose based on our first half showing, but disappointed that we only took a point from our second half display.

“A win would have put us above Cowdenbeath and into seventh place and that’s what we were aiming for, but we had to settle for a draw.

“First half we carried on a wee bit from the Falkirk game but we did very well to fight our way back and to eventually take the lead with a great finish from Aggy.

“It was another last minute goal that robbed us of the points and that’s a lesson we need to learn.

“Now it’s all about preparing for Thistle at Firhill next week.”
