DUMBARTON will play another friendly this week, taking on Third Division opponents Queens Park in Glasgow.
The closed doors game will be played on Thursday 18th July at Lesser Hampden, starting at 7.30pm.
The match provides another opportunity for manager Ian Murray to try out different players and approaches ahead of the new season, and compensates for the lack of a game on Saturday.
It had originally been mooted that Dumbarton and Queens Park might play each other next Tuesday.
But that date (23rd July) is now being used for the 2012/13 Stirlingshire Cup Final against Falkirk at the Bet Butler Stadium.
