SONS boss Stevie Aitken flies out on a well deserved break today, but knows that assistant Ian Durrant is capable of taking care of things.
Aitken, who gave a comprehensive interview last night to SonsTV (now online), has left strict instructions to his No 2.
He said: “Ian will be taking care of things in my absence and we have a few players coming in next week to formally sign their contracts.
“I’m looking forward to my break but as ever I’m sure it’ll be a working holiday as my phone is always switched on ready for taking calls.
“Things are progressing nicely with respect to our signing targets but a lot of players are still under contract, so it is waiting game for us.
“It’s another challenge of re-building a squad that I’m looking forward tp.”
