A SUCCESSFUL ceilidh was held at the C&G Systems Stadium on Saturday evening as a fundraiser organised by the Sons Supporters Trust.
Dozens turned out to support the cause and celebrate St Andrew’s Night – which were added to by Dumbarton’s 2-1 win at Clyde earlier that day.
The crowd were well-entertained by the Willie Scott Ceilidh Band – not to mention some of the footwork shown on the dance floor.
And organiser Stephanie Park was so delighted with how the event went that plans are already underway to do it again next year.
Stephanie said: “Everybody who attended and performed helped to make it a fantastic evening and we’re glad we got it in the calendar for the first time.
“Our grateful thanks go to the ceilidh band, our catering partners Revolution Catering and Events for their services, and to all those who attended.
“Keep the last weekend of November, or thereabouts, clear in your diaries for next year!”
Attention now turns to the impending Christmas party night at the stadium on Saturday, December 14, and the Burns Supper, also at the stadium, on Friday, January 31.
