Thursday 23rd June 2022
DUMBARTON will start their pre-season friendly fixtures tonight with a closed door match against Ayr United on neutral territory at Largs.
The game will kick off at 7pm, and will be a first opportunity for manager Stevie Farrell – flying back from his holiday in Portugal today – to see his new-look squad in match action.
A number of trialists will also be involved to boost the squad and potentially catch the manager’s eye for the season ahead.
Our social media channels will carry updates from tonight’s game, with our Twitter feed @DumbartonFC having updates on team news and goals. We will have a match summary on the website as soon as possible after the match ends.
Although our supporters will not be able to watch tonight, you don’t have much longer to wait, as you will be able to see Sons in action away to Caledonian Braves on Saturday.
