IT is with very deep sadness that we announce that ex-Sons player Freddie Glidden, has died.
Freddie played 122 times for the Sons and was signed from Hearts in 1959. He made his debut in a 2-0 defeat against Arbroath in August of the same year.
All at Dumbarton Football Club send their deepest sympathies and condolences to Freddie’s family and to his many friends at this extremely difficult time
