DUMBARTON FC are delighted to confirm Four Architects as our main away shirt sponsor for season 2021/22.
The Manchester-based design studio is an award-winning company which has been tasked with designing the club’s potential new stadium at Young’s Farm, which is a key part of Cognitive Capital Ltd’s future plans for the club.
The design studio was founded in 2018 and specialises in residential, commercial, industrial and retail projects along with urban design proposals.
Four Architects do not have a singular style or abstract expression, with a holistic approach taken to every project.
The company was founded by Neil Dermott, who joined the board of DFC as part of Cognitive Capital’s majority shareholding purchase in April. Matthew Atkinson, who has taken the lead on behalf of Cognitive Capital on property and stadium matters at DFC, is also a director of Four Architects.
This deal to sponsor the front of the away strip underlines our majority shareholders’ commitment to working with the club towards a settled future and we thank Four Architects for their support.
The strip will also feature, on the back, a specially-designed 1872 logo by C&G Systems in recognition of the club’s approaching 150th year, and also the logo of our sponsors Bangin’ Pizza. We also extend sincere thanks to these two sponsors for their support.
Last but by no means least, we also thank Pitch Teamwear, who are sleeve sponsors on the away strip.
The black away strip, selected by our fans during the close season after a social media vote, will be worn for the first time in tomorrow’s match against Montrose.
The process of recruiting a main sponsor for our home strip, and a headline sponsor for our stadium, remains ongoing, with progress being made on each front. We will keep our supporters fully updated on these.
