MIDFIELDER Finlay Gray has this morning signed a one-year deal with Dumbarton after impressing as a trialist during the pre-season fixtures.
A product of the St Mirren youth academy, Finlay spent last season playing in the Lowland League with Broomhill FC.
He then featured as a trialist during Sons’ pre-season fixtures and his performances have now earned him a contract with the club.
Finlay’s signing has been completed in time for him to be part of the squad in today’s Premier Sports Cup tie at home to Stirling Albion. He will wear number 18 in our squad.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Finlay showed up well in pre-season, and between that and his performances for Broomhill last season, he is a player we are pleased to bring on board.
“He is only 20 but has lots to offer us this season.”
