DYLAN Easton is happy to be at Dumbarton, and he couldn’t wait to join up at the Rock when he discovered manager Ian Murray wanted to sign him.
And on-loan Easton, who made his debut in yesterday’s 5-1 loss against Livingston, is hoping that his time at the Sons can help him force his way into his parent club’s long term plans.
He said: “To get the chance to play in Championship this season with so many good teams in the league is a great opportunity.
“I’m delighted that the gaffer wanted me to sign, and after a chat with my mate Chris Kane who loved his time at Dumbarton, I agreed to come on loan.
“I’m sure I’ll learn a lot at the club and to play in high profile games can only help me with my future career.
“There is a lot of games still to play in the campaign, so if I’m selected I will have the time to impress.
“The boys have been great since I signed and I’m looking forward to doing well for the Sons.”
