DUMBARTON’S opening Betfred Cup tie against Dunfermline Athletic will be available for our supporters to stream live on Tuesday evening.
We have been working over the weekend with Pixellot to finalise a service which will allow Sons fans – and followers of the Pars – to watch the game as it happens.
The price, by agreement with Dunfermline Athletic, will be £12. As well as live, the game will also be available to watch for the next 48 hours.
If you haven’t already done so, you must register beforehand for the service, using the guidelines in our previous story.
You do not need to be a season ticket holder as you can purchase on a game-by-game basis. Season tickets also are not valid for cup ties.
Following on from our announcement on Saturday about the opening of registration for the streaming service, the club is delighted to note that over 140 fans have so far registered for the system.
No technical issues have been identified so far in terms of registering and we are grateful for the clear instruction of supporter and volunteer John Sartain towards this.
We will be happy to help anybody through the registering process if they require assistance.
As previously mentioned, the registering process is phase one of the project. For those who have purchased season tickets, and who have registered, we are currently in the process of allowing access to the live streaming of home league games.
Access to this will be complete before our first home league fixture, against Clyde on Saturday, October 24.
Pixellot is currently finalising testing for the live streaming only subscription season ticket, which we expect to be available in the next 10 days.
All of the volunteers at the club, along with manager Jim Duffy and his players are incredibly grateful to our supporters for their ongoing backing during this difficult time.
We remain hopeful that we can all get together at the C&G Systems Stadium soon but until then, we hope you keep safe and that our live streaming service is useful and helpful.
Please note that we recommend that supporters view the streaming through a web browser, in order to gain the best experience.
