DUMBARTON v MOTHERWELL: STADIUM ARRANGEMENTS

Friday 19th July 2019

DFC safety officer David Douglas has been in touch with details of stadium arrangements for Tuesday’s Betfred Cup tie at home to Motherwell.

With a large away support expected from the Premiership club, David and colleagues have been working out the best way to accommodate the crowd.

The match is NOT all ticket, and will be accessible by paying £12 for adults and £6 for concessions at the gate.

David said: “The estimated number of visiting fans for this match may exceed the capacity available in the west side of the stand.

“Considering that there is insufficient time available to make the game ‘ticket only’ it has been decided to segregate the section in the east side, closest to the tunnel, to accommodate any overspill.

“Visiting fans will enter via the away turnstiles as usual and will be directed to this area only when the west side is completely full.

“Segregation measures will be in place and visiting fans will not be permitted to enter the home concourse.

“We apologise for any inconvenience but trust our fans will recognise we are trying to create a safe environment for all supporters and avoid the situation that occurred at the Kilmarnock game last season.”
