THE final game of the 2014/15 season sees Raith Rovers visit the Dumbarton Football Stadium with both teams hoping to end their campaigns on a positive note.
Manager Ian Murray commented: “The game won’t affect any of the outstanding issues in the division, but we still have plenty to play for in that we need to halt what has been a poor run of results.
“To finish the season on a high would be great and I can assure fans that we will be taking the game seriously.”
Sons’ run of five consecutive league defeats is making it a miserable end to the season, and the team are looking to end the campaign with a result.
Raith are on a similar path, having also lost their last five Championship games.
Inspirational skipper Andy Graham missed the defeat at Queen of the South through suspension but will return to face Rovers.
David Van Zanten, who made the bench last weekend, is still proving his fitness and Chris Duggan misses out.
The Raith game also sees the final matches of the season in a Sons shirt for loanees Stuart Findlay (current Baxter Ramsay player of the month), Danny Rogers, Dylan Easton and Darren Petrie.
Our revamped, high quality matchday magazine, Sons View, is a special 40-page edition for this game, marking the famous Forthbank season.
