SONS travel to Dumfries this weekend to face Queen of the South at Palmerston.
It’s not been a happy hunting ground for Dumbarton in recent seasons. However, manager Stevie Aitken is keen to put recent disappointments behind him and push on.
He said: “Queen of the South will be another stiff test for us, but we are looking forward to the game.
“We have a terrific spirit in the squad and the lads are not letting recent results get them down.
“We’ll go with a positive attitude to Palmerston.”
Scott Taggart remains sidelined and also missing from the starting line-up tomorrow will be Frazer Wright.
Striker Steven Craig is not yet fit enough for selection.
