SONS final game of a successful 15/16 season takes place on Sunday with a trip to the Indodrill Stadium to play Alloa Athletic.
This match will have no bearing on final league placings for both clubs, with Alloa Athletic relegated to League One and Sons safe for a fifth stint in the Championship in 2016/17.
In the last meeting Christian Nade earned all the plaudits when the teams played each other in April.
A classic hat-trick from the Frenchman — a career first — made sure that Sons claimed a vital victory.
“It’s been a hard but enjoyable season and our players deserve plaudits for again finishing away from the relegation places,” said boss Stevie Aitken.
“We head to Alloa with no pressure and the work for next season begins straight away, he added.
In team news, Nade is struggling to make the Alloa match and could be sidelined.
There are a few doubts about one or two players after a long hard season, particularly Mark Docherty and Frazer Wright.
The boys look forward to the customary vocal support from the away fans in Clackmannanshire.
The party will continue at the Rock in the evening on Sunday, with the traditional end-of-term awards night.
