DUMBARTON HEAD TO FACE BRAVES

Friday 24th June 2022

DUMBARTON are quickly back in action after last night’s draw with Ayr United, travelling to face Lowland League outfit Caledonian Braves tomorrow.

The Braves finished ninth in the 18-team Lowland League last season and are expected to offer another test in the build-up to the new season.

Sons will make the journey to Alliance Park to try new options, and a trialist goalkeeper is expected to play the full 90 minutes.

Other trialists, who got on to the pitch against Ayr United, may also get another run-out.

Supporters are allowed into Alliance Park, which is within Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell, for a donation at the entrance.

To get to Alliance Park, leave the M74 at junction five and take the second exit off the roundabout, signposted for Strathclyde Park. Drive past the Toby Carvery and the pitch is next on your right.

If you can’t make it, we will once again have updates on our social media channels. Our website summary may be a little later than usual but will be published as soon as possible.

Kick-off is at 3pm.
