DUMBARTON claimed a useful point away to promotion chasing Montrose today, with the game ending 1-1 at Links Park.
Craig Johnston put Montrose ahead after 24 minutes with a close range finish as they enjoyed the wind advantage in the first half.
But in the final minute of the first half Joshua Oyinsan (pictured) bundled home the equaliser.
Montrose dominated the second half, but found debuting goalkeeper Kieran Wright in fine form.
Sons’ attention now switches to Tuesday evening’s trip to Firhill to play Queen’s Park.
