DUMBARTON Football Club and River Radio are delighted to announce a new partnership with a shared vision of community engagement within West Dunbartonshire.
The aim of the partnership is to raise the profile of both organisations within the local community. The football club have been steadily developing links within the local area and this is the latest project to be added to their community network.
River Radio is a community radio station based in West Dunbartonshire. The station is internet based and has expanded rapidly since starting to broadcast in 2020 with additional expansion planned before the end of 2021. The station can be easily accessed via smart devices including Alexa.
They are re-establishing local radio within the area.
Broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week River Radio is driving to develop links with the local community and are delighted to form this partnership.
Paul Lucas of River Radio said: “We are new to broadcasting in West Dunbartonshire and have learned much in the last year. We are encouraged with the progress we have made in such a short period of time and are thrilled to come together with Dumbarton Football Club who have been an established part of the local community for many years.”
Sons director Neil McKay said “There is an overlap between our fanbase and the River Radio listener base we are both keen to develop. It is hoped this partnership will stimulate interest in the club.”
The partnership will ensure Dumbarton Football Club will have a regular voice within the area
