The Club is delighted to announce the exciting news that approval has been granted for the creation of The Dumbarton FC Community Trust.
With its primary aims being to promote social inclusion and improve well-being, the Trust will work with the Club to increase access to physical activity and sport for all and to be a potent partnership in combating health inequalities in the area. The process of engagement with stakeholders, funders and partners now begins in order to plan how to achieve these objectives most effectively.
An integral part of the project will be the installation of an artificial playing surface and development of facilities at the Marbill Coaches Stadium for the benefit of the community. It is intended that this initiative will also help underpin the sustainability and future development of the Club.
