Friday 12th January 2018

SONS welcome Ladbrokes Championship league leaders St Mirren to the YOUR Radio 103FM Stadium tomorrow.

Gavin Duncan is the match referee for tomorrow’s game. This will be Mr Duncan’s third game this season where he has officiated at a Sons match. Previously he’s been in charge against Queen of the South (August 17) and again v Raith Rovers in November (17). David Roome and David Doig will be assistants.

There have been 95 meetings between the two clubs. The Buddies have the upper hand in number of wins (41) and Sons have contributed 36 victories with 18 matches ending all-square.

Sons travelled to the Paisley 2021 Stadium in December 2017 and managed to squeeze a 1-0 win, thanks to an 80th minute Tom Walsh strike.

Kyle Hutton (pictured) returns to the squad following suspension and it looks likely that skipper Andy Dowie, who hobbled off against Dunfermline Athletic last week, will be available. New signing Iain Russell will be hoping to make his debut. Out though is Sam Wardrop who has not shaken off a leg knock. Mark Stewart, Dimitris Froxylias and Grant Gallagher stay sidelined.
