DUMBARTON sustained a disappointing third defeat in a row today, with Queen’s Park running out easy 3-0 winners in today’s home fixture.
The Spiders started the process of making it a clean sweep of victories over Sons this season in only four minutes, Luca Connell scoring the opening goal.
The same player made it 2-0 nine minutes from half time, scoring from the rebound after Kieran Wright (pictured) made an initial save.
Joe McKee went near with a close range effort early in the second half, but the visiting defence scrambled clear.
The visitors scored their third goal with 15 minutes left, Louis Longridge finishing off a cross from the right.
Attention is now on next Saturday’s vital trip to Methil to play East Fife.
