Tuesday 14th April 2015
SONS development squad’s recent winning run came to an end last night when Queen of the South defeated our youngsters 3-0.
Two goals in quick succession before half-time by the Dumfries team effectively killed the game with a third added in the second half.
It was a disappointing outcome for the young Sons team, featuring players from the 17s squad.
In league terms, there is one more match to play and this will be against Annan Athletic on Tuesday 21st April with a 7.30pm ko at Galabank.
The majority of the development squad will be in action again tomorrow night, Wednesday at Ochilview in the semi-final of the Stirlingshire Cup.
