MORGYN NEILL and Rico Quitongo have each advised Dumbarton that they see their futures elsewhere and have now left the club.
The duo arrived with Sons in the 2019 close season, with Neill going on to play 66 games for the club, scoring a total of six goals.
Quitongo was named Sonstrust Young Player of the Year at the end of his debut season in 2019/20. He has played 56 games for Sons.
They have each advised manager Stevie Farrell this afternoon that they wish to move on to pastures new.
All at DFC thank the two players, who have become firm fans’ favourites, for their service over the last two years and wish them all the very best for the future.
The remaining members of the squad are considering offers made to them by Dumbarton today. They are Sam Ramsbottom, Jaime Wilson, Stuart Carswell, Conner Duthie, Sam Wardrop and Adam Frizzell. Ryan McGeever, of course, is already signed.
