Danny Rogers has capped off a memorable start at Dumbarton by scooping the club’s Baxter Ramsay Player of the Month award for September.
The Irish-born shot stopper was the winner in our online poll, gaining 46 per cent of the votes. The runner-up was captain Andy Graham with 34 per cent, while the other nominee, Chris Kane, was picked by 19 per cent of voters.
The on-loan youngster (from Aberdeen), has earned himself a call-up to the Republic’s U21 squad for this month’s friendly against Norway, has been outstanding during September.
Some fine saves in crucial matches against Falkirk and Alloa Athletic and a clean sheet against league leaders Hearts ensured his nomination and eventual win.
Well done Danny!
