DUMBARTON have completed a short-term deal for defender Daniel Church, who left Celtic in September.
The 20-year-old was on loan to East Fife last season, turning out 12 times for the New Bayview side.
He will be a Sons player until at least Monday, January 11, having signed a deal until then today, and is available for tomorrow’s game at Kilmarnock.
Manager Jim Duffy said: “Daniel impressed at East Fife last season and had been at Celtic for 13 years before leaving earlier this year.
“He’s got a real appetite to do well in the game and we’re looking forward to seeing him playing for us until at least January.
“It was important for us to add to our numbers and to bring a player of Daniel’s quality in is a big positive for us.”
