CT SIGNS 2-YEAR DEAL

Thursday 16th May 2013

CHRIS Turner put pen to paper on a new 2-year deal this morning pledging his immediate future to DFC.

CT as he is known, played a pivotal role in last season’s first division campaign and manager Ian Murray has concluded what everyone considers to be a good piece of business.

He left Irish side Shamrock Rovers after three seasons by mutual consent — having two months left on his contract — to sign for Sons at the end of August 2012 until the end of last season.

Chris hails from near Coleraine in County Derry, and began his League of Ireland career with Sligo Rovers in 2006 and then went on to Bohs and later to Dundalk.

In his earlier years he was on the books of Derby County and in more recent times he had a brief spell with Partick Thistle.
