CROSSAN COMES BACK

Tuesday 28th July 2020

PJ CROSSAN has signed a new one-year deal with Dumbarton and is on board for a second season with the club.

The striker missed just three of Sons’ 35 games last season, having signed only two days before it kicked off with the Betfred Cup tie at Annan Athletic.

He has seven goals to his name to date, only two behind Sons’ top scorer Isaac Layne.

Manager Jim Duffy said: “PJ was a troublesome player for opposition defences last season and his goal tally reflects that.

“When we knew he was available last year he was somebody we moved quickly to get on board and he proved a very decent signing.

“There is more to come from him, and we’re optimistic of that happening in the season ahead.”
