DUMBARTON FC sends congratulations and best wishes to Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic after their victory tonight in the William Hill Scottish Cup third round replay.
While everyone connected with Sons is obviously deeply disappointed at the outcome of the tie, and though our squad was clearly depleted, Rose deserve full and massive credit for their fine performance over two legs.
They will now be rewarded with a fourth round home tie against Hibernian in the New Year.
We wish Bonnyrigg Rose all the very best for the rest of their season, both in the Cup and in the Scottish Junior Football Association’s East Region Super League, of which they are the current champions.
