ALL at Dumbarton FC extend huge congratulations to local wheelchair tennis player Gordon Reid, who is leaving Wimbledon as a singles AND doubles champion.
Gordon, who lives in Helensburgh, won the doubles title yesterday alongside fellow Brit Alfie Hewett, defeating French duo Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (8-6).
And today he has won the singles title, beating Swede Stefan Olsson 6-1, 6-4. He is the first ever player to win this title.
Congratulations to Gordon on an incredible achievement…and good luck to Andy Murray!
