Friday 2nd June 2017
SCHOOLS and youth clubs are invited to register interest relating to the club’s community tickets for Dumbarton’s home league matches next season.
These will be used to enable young people to watch Sons in action, as part of a school or youth group, for no charge.
Sonstrust Director Alan Findlay commented: “The idea behind the ‘scheme’ is to get youngsters along to watch Dumbarton FC, perhaps for the first time, and maybe, just maybe there will be a spark ignited so that we have fans of the future.
“There are 30 tickets available per game which is based on 25 youngsters (under 16) and 5 adults.
“Last season we had all 18 home games booked and hopefully we can do the same again for the new campaign.
“The fixture list is published on 23rd June, but we are looking to get an idea if there clubs and organisations looking to register in advance.”
