Dumbarton cruised into the third round of the SPFL Trust Trophy after a 4-0 win over Berwick Rangers this evening.
A first-half brace from Craig McGuffie alongside Michael Ruth and David Wilson strikes had Sons in control at the interval.
Visiting goalkeeper Calum Antell prevented Dumbarton from adding to their tally in the second period with Panos Grivas denied more than once but it’s Sons who find themselves in the hat for the third round.
Stevie Farrell’s side return to league duty on Saturday when they travel to Cove Rangers.
