A FUNDRAISING comedy night which took place at Dumbarton Football Stadium last weekend has raised £2640 for two local charities supporting needy people.
The Rock Comedy Club organised the event, which was headlined by comedian Gary Meikle, in support of West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare and Food for Thought foodbank charities.
As well as the excellent financial sum, 42 bags of food were also given to the two charities.
Well done to all involved in the show – a fantastic effort and one we were delighted to stage.
