AFTER an absence of fifty years, Dumbarton FC returned to the top flight of Scottish football at the end of the 1971-72 season by winning the Second Division title.
At the time it was our first national championship win in sixty years – and for many Sons fans, that era and the players involved remain heroes.
To celebrate that event of forty-five years ago, we are hosting a special hospitality day when St Mirren visit the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium on February 4th 2017.
Members of that famous title winning squad will be in attendance, including Lawrie Williams, Kenny Wilson and Johnny Graham.
For just £50 per person as a Sons season ticket holder, you can enjoy their company for pre-match lunch in the Chivas Suite! (£65 for non-ST holders).
