DUMBARTON FC are delighted to announce that C&G Systems will be our front of shirt sponsors for season 2020/21, reinforcing a strong relationship between the club and the company.
C&G Systems have been sponsors of our stadium since the 2018 close season, and our relationship with them continues to go from strength to strength.
A number of Sons players, past and present, have worked for C&G Systems while playing for the club, and rail safety sessions involving local school pupils were regularly held at the stadium prior to lockdown.
C&G Systems take over the position of shirt sponsor from Turnberry Homes, who had been our shirt sponsors since 2016.
We extend sincere thanks to Turnberry for their support and wish them every success for the future. There will always be a warm welcome for them at Dumbarton FC.
Dumbarton FC chairman John Steele said: “C&G Systems are true champions of football in our local area and we are delighted that they have chosen to extend their involvement with us in this way.
“The last few months have been extremely tough for us all, and it is no different for football clubs and their sponsors as everybody strives to survive in the current climate.
“We are therefore delighted to have reached a successful conclusion to the search for a new shirt sponsor and we look forward to our partnership with C&G continuing to evolve.”
Dave Gordon, Managing Director of C&G Systems, added: “This deal to become Dumbarton’s shirt sponsors underlines the commitment we have to supporting football not just at Dumbarton FC, but all over West Dunbartonshire.
“Since becoming involved at the club in 2018, we have developed a fantastic relationship and we are only too glad to be of assistance in this tough time for Scottish football.
“We’re looking forward to backing the Sons in what will hopefully be a successful season 2020/21.”
A number of supporters have already placed an order for the new home and away strips for the coming campaign – support which we are extremely grateful for.
A logo is being finalised for display on the front of the shirts, and once this has been done, we aim to have replica shirts for sale and collection from our club shop as soon as possible.
