DUMBARTON have completed a loan deal for St Mirren defender Nick McAllister, who makes the switch across the Erskine Bridge until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has already made his first team debut for the Buddies, in a Betfred Cup tie against Albion Rovers last month.
The Wee Rovers then moved to sign him on loan during the second part of last season, with his loan spell at Cliftonhill ending with the premature finish to the campaign.
He will now be a Sons player until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Manager Jim Duffy said: “Nick is highly-rated at St Mirren and this move will give him game time as part of his development.
“We have a busy schedule coming up and he will be an important part of our plans to take that on. We are looking forward to seeing what he does for us.”
