Friday 31st January 2014
PROMISING Celtic youngster Michael Miller today joined up at the Bet Butler Stadium on a loan deal ahead of the transfer window closing.
A product of the Celtic Youth Academy, Miller was signed by the Parkhead club on a 30 month contract in January 2012 and he joins up at the Bet Butler Stadium until the end of the current campaign.
The 19-year old is a Scottish youth internationalist and his versatility means he can play either in a full-back role or centre-half and features regularly in the Scottish Champions under-20 SPFL development team.
Sons boss Ian Murray commented: “Michael is a welcome addition to our squad and he’ll fit in easily with the rest of the team.
“The fact that he’s got experiences of both playing in defence and at full-back plus he’s been having success in a midfield role at Celtic, means we have strengthened the pool.”
Miller is added to the squad for tomorrow’s match at Hamilton.
