DEFENDER Stuart Carswell has won the C&G Systems player of the month award for September after a vote among fans on social media.
Carsy has been a mainstay at centre half in our first choice team, with Dumbarton keeping four clean sheets in the seven league games in which he has played there.
Our first league defeat of the season, at Stranraer, was also the first game Stuart missed, having to withdraw late on due to work commitments.
He also played his 200th game for the club in September against Bonnyrigg Rose, a game where his penalty was the only goal.
He will receive his award at a future home game.
