Defender Cammy Clark has left Dumbarton by mutual consent with our best wishes.
Cammy joined us in the summer of 2024 following our promotion to William Hill League 1 and played 33 times last season, captaining the side on a number occasions. He renewed his contract for a second term at the Marbill Coaches stadium in June, playing a further 13 times this season.
Boss Frank McKeown said: “Like any player, Cammy wants to be playing regularly and we wouldn’t want to stand in his way. Myself and the rest of the management team wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts as a Sons player over the last 18 months.
“We’re continuing to work hard to reshape the squad and we’re confident of having positive news to share with the supporters in time for the Elgin game.”
