DUMBARTON have completed the signing of ex-Hibernian youth player Calum Wilson, who featured as a trialist in the club’s pre-season programme.
The 17-year-old midfielder took part in all of the Sons’ pre-season matches and impressed enough to earn a deal for the coming campaign.
He was at the Rock this afternoon to complete terms on his one-year deal.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Calum is young, but impressed during his spell as a trialist with us and was unlucky not to score with an effort against Clydebank.
“The skills he showed during our pre-season games convinced us that he will be a decent option for the season ahead and we look forward to seeing him progress.”
