SONS manager Ian Murray made the most of the fixture free weekend by keeping busy preparing for next Saturday’s visit of Hearts.
“We played a closed door friendly on Saturday morning to keep the lads sharp”, said Ian.
“We are trying to keep the momentum going from the Livingston win and with next week’s opponents flying high, our concentration levels must be maintained.”
Following the bounce match, Ian travelled to Cappielow to take in the Petrofac Training Cup quarter-final between Morton and Championship opponents Alloa Athletic.
