DUMBARTON supporters will be pleased to read a lengthy two-part interview with ex-Son Bryan Prunty in the local newspaper, in which he remembers his time at the Rock with fondness.
The interview, conducted by Fraser Clarke, appears in this current edition of the Lennox Herald, and can be read here. The second part appears this week.
Prunts is perhaps best known to the wider public for his stunning overhead kick goal against Livingston in February 2013. That goal was voted Goal of the Season at both the PFA Scotland and Scottish Football League end of season awards.
Overall, Bryan Prunty scored 34 goals for Dumbarton in 99 appearances (in League Two, League One and the Championship between seasons 2011/12 and 2014/15.
In November 2018 the industrious striker joined the coaching staff at Airdrieonians, working alongside former Sons manager Ian Murray.
