DEFENDER Stephen Bronsky, who played as a trialist for Dumbarton against East Fife last Saturday, has now signed a deal with the club until the end of the season, subject to SFA approval.
The centre half turned out for Edinburgh City in the first part of the current campaign and scored one goal in 20 games for them.
After terminating his contract at City, he turned out in a Sons shirt in the victory over East Fife and sufficiently impressed to earn a deal.
He was unable to play in today’s Scottish Cup tie against Dundee due to being cup-tied, but is set to be available to play Cove Rangers next week.
Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Stephen made a promising start to life as a Dumbarton player, doing his bit to ensure a fine result against East Fife.
“With Ryan McGeever remaining out injured, it is important to add to our options at centre half and we have done that well with this signing.”
Welcome to Dumbarton Stephen!
