DUMBARTON head to Cumbernauld on Saturday to play Clyde in their second Betfred Cup group tie.
An update has been issued by the Broadwood side on measures to allow supporters of the two clubs to stream the game.
A statement on the Clyde website, issued yesterday, said: “The club is aware of significant issues faced by other clubs using the Pixellot system last night, for Betfred Cup match streaming with subscription/pay-per-view entry.
“This follows the ongoing delays being experienced specifically by Clyde in gaining agreed platform updates to facilitate Season Card integration.
“Given the above, and with three more clubs set to pilot the system in this evening’s Betfred Cup fixtures, a decision on the approach taken for Saturday’s match against Dumbarton at Broadwood has been delayed until tomorrow (now today, Thursday, October 8).
“Various options are being considered, with the emphasis being on allowing supporters to watch the match as best and as widely as possible.
“A further update will be published as soon as possible and the club thanks supporters for their patience.”
We will also share details of how to stream the fixture here on our website as soon as they are available.
