BOSS ‘FRUSTRATED’ AT CALL OFF

Wednesday 27th February 2013

GAFFER Ian Murray was annoyed at last night’s very late postponement of Sons match with Raith Rovers.

With fans already in the ground and kick-off just an hour away, referee Bobby Madden decided that an area of the Bet Butler Stadium pitch – in front of the stand – was unsafe and called the game off.

Murray said : “It was a disappointing and frustrating outcome but nobody’s fault.

“There is not much we can do about such a late call off.

“It’s outwith our control once the referee makes a decision.

“We just have to get on with things and our focus is now on the weekend game with Cowdenbeath.

“This is a big game for both sides and a victory for us puts us into a league position where we want to be.”
