SONS boss Ian Murray was disappointed at last Saturday’s result against Falkirk and is looking to bounce back against Cowdenbeath next weekend.
“We started the game poorly,” said Ian, “and losing the first goal early on in the match made life difficult for us.
“In the second period, we played much better, but didn’t get any breaks in front of goal and were punished.”
Falkirk’s victory, their fourth on the bounce pulled them seven points clear of Dumbarton, effectively splitting the Championship into two mini-leagues.
Cowdenbeath are Sons next opponents on Saturday 27th December and to prepare for the game, Murray is planning to have a training session on Boxing Day.
Supporters looking to make their way through to Fife should note that the Sonstrust travel section is planning a fans bus for the journey.
