Dumbarton boss Stevie Farrell has completed his first Summer signing by adding Blair Malcolm to his squad.
The 26-year-old was most recently with Albion Rovers in cinch League Two where he played 41 times last season.
The left-sided defender or midfielder has also turned out for Ross County, Cowdenbeath, Alloa Athletic and East Kilbride across his career.
And now he can add Dumbarton to that list after penning a one-year-deal at The Rock.
Boss Stevie Farrell told the clubs website: “Blair gives us plenty of experience having played nearly 100 games in this division, and more at a higher level.
“He’s a very intelligent player, a hard worker and someone who we believe can have a possible influence on the pitch and in the dressing room.
“Albion Rovers gave us four very difficult matches last year and whilst Blair didn’t play in one of them, he was one of the main reasons they were so hard to play against.”
