DUMBARTON FC sends best wishes to long-term supporter and season ticket holder Alastair Currie, who is recovering from illness.
Alastair’s nephew Alan has been in touch with the club advising that his uncle has recently taken unwell and is now rehabilitating locally.
Alan said: “My uncle has been a season ticket holder for so long, I don’t remember.
“He takes his season ticket everywhere and anywhere in case he has the opportunity to show off the club he loves with his evidence, always cheered me up.”
Alan also said that Alastair’s recovery is gradually moving in a positive direction.
Everybody at DFC wishes Alastair well with that recovery and hope that, like all of our supporters, we will see him back at the C&G Systems Stadium as soon as possible.
