WITH the new season only a matter of weeks away, our groundstaff are working hard to prepare the C&G Systems Stadium’s playing surface for what will be a tough campaign in League One.
Head groundsman Alan ‘Buster’ Brown is pleased with progress so far.
He said: “The pitch was in a poor state towards the end of last season.
“We’ve had some work completed to hopefully address the major issues and now we are letting nature take it’s course over the next few weeks.”
Sons first home game of pre-season is scheduled for Saturday 7th July when Craig Levein brings a Hearts side to the Rock.
Kick off is 3pm and admission prices are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
