Sunday 29th December 2013
DEFENDER Aaron Barry’s loan spell at DFC has ended and he will now return to Sheffield United.
The Irish-born defender arrived at the Bet Butler Stadium in the summer of 2013 and has played a pivotal role at the heart of the Sons defence making 22 appearances.
Manager Ian Murray said:”It’s unfortunate for us that Aaron has been recalled by Sheffield.
“His deal expires on 3rd January and we did try to extend his stay but it wasn’t to be and all at the club wish him well back at Bramall Lane.”
The gaffer has a busy week ahead before Greenock Morton visit on January 4th.
He said :”We have a few things to sort out with the squad in terms of other loan deals we have both playing for us and those who are currently out to other clubs.”
